Computer Ethics

The set of accepted rules that govern the use of computers is known as computer ethics. Computer ethics, like ethics more generally, is essentially a set of philosophical rules or moral principles intended to guide behaviour and stop harm.

Computer ethics can help to guide social behaviour and user interactions when using computer systems, especially where the internet is concerned. They also work to prevent technology misuse by computer scientists, programmers, and other decision-making professionals within the field.
